Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya nama: Dear devotees, Humble praNAms to all. Just some perspectives as I was thinking about the Lord of seven hills(He is my family God). This DD perumAL exhibits "vAtsalyam". Thanks to Sri Vanamamalai Padmanabhan for writing great posts on 30 DD's and the kalyANa guNas exhibited in the respective DD perumAL. Well, there are lot of politics going on in Tirumala Hills. Keeping it aside, and also the worry that He hardly gets rest,if we see it from a mother's point of view, I don't pity that He doesn't rest! That's the price He has to pay for His vAtsalyam. It's like this: a woman just turned a mother. The new born keeps the mother on its toes. The mother "has to forget" about sleeping continuously and happily for 6-8 hrs! She only sleeps in instalment basis. Can we blame the child for that? No. That is the price a woman has to pay for the motherhood. Moreover it is a pleasure for the mother to cater to the baby. We always take liberties with the mother more than the father! Forget about others then. I would boldly make a statement that "if at all" there is one relation which expects the least, it is only the mother. That's why this divya dEsam, than any other DD icluding the bhUlOka vaikuNTam, gets crowd all the time. Everybody in this world would love a person who doesn't expect anything in return. We don't want to go near people who expect something in return. That's the human nature. This particular perumAL shows that motherly tenderness. A mortal mother may have a maximum of 12 kids. For Him, everyone is His kid. Can we then imagine the crowd eager to visit Him.
