Namaskar,

I am a student and whenever i go to a temple i feel uneasy

as i dont know what is wrong and what is right and often when i try

to follow what my parents tell me my friends mock at me saying that i

am behaving as uneducated and at times my parents scold me for not

doing some things.At times i become an atheist listening to them even

though my inner consciuos dosen't.so i would be happy if any one

helps me to know few things about traditions followed and should be

followed in temples.

This is was the main reason that forced me to search for

any details of SRI RAMANUJACHARYAS TEACHINGS WHICH lead me to this

group.I found no books on the teachings and on the life of acharya

for long now i found a book on life history by swami ramakrishnananda

and i am reading it.

I would like to know the place to find wallpapers with

alvars or some quotes or traditions of the srisampradaya so that we

can never be away from godly thougt.

Dear devotee,

The true defn of a friend: a true friend is one who

stands by you even when the entire world walks out on you. If your

friends mock at you, then you need to do some thinking! No one is

born bad. It is the "association/circumstances" that turns a person

into good/bad. Are you in the right group that makes you a better

person? Certainly we all can learn from our parents. But parents are

not experts in every walk of life. If you have any doubts or

questions, you can ask your parents,friends and seek someone who is

an expert to crosscheck! When you have the desire to learn(I would

say that even this desire God only gives),God will put devotees in

front of you to clarify your doubts. Always go for authentic

texts/authors who give the message without adulterating the contents.

There are many authors who don't make you think and there are very

few authors whose books if you read, you become an expert that no

one can shake you. Finally what matters is "who your AcAryA/guru is"
