Guest guest
Dear Asthikas, Yes !. It was like Thaila Dhara !. In earlier discourse on Sri Bhagavat Gita,Sri Krishnan had used the example of Thaila Dhara, meaning, like a continuous flow of oil from a tap which remains constant & uniform in its flow, unlike water or other substances, as a state of mind required during meditation. So also, in the last six days of discourse in Dubai on Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Mahimai, Sri Krishnan was continuous,non-stop,giving maximum knowledge to the audience in the short span of time available to him. His bakhti was great. His sincerity & devotion to the cause was great. He is the person, who practises, what he preaches to all.His in-depth knowledge & research on our sanatana dharma was great. It is our fortune that we have a such a scholarly person amongst us. On the closing day,it was nice to see men & women coming forward to praise & thank Sri Krishnan for his lectures and everyone was requesting for more & more of his lectures in the near future. Well, Sri Krishnan has done his good work to create the awareness on "Sri Nama Parayanam" and now, it is our duty to continue on the path laid before us. Coming back to the reply sloka of Lord Ishwara, the asthikas should not substitute Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam with Sri Rama Namah Japam. The reply is for great bakhta's like Lord Parameshwar himself, who in his avathar as Sri Anjaneya, personified Sri Rama Bakthi, the essence of Bakhti Margam ! Hence, the daily parayanam of Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam is essential & must for us in this life. Our whole hearted thanks to the young team of Organisers for this great opportunity !
