Guest guest
ramanuja ramanuja: Dear coordinator/moderator, This mail is from Srinivasa Raghava Daasan. There is an ancient Vaishnavite temple in Perumbakkam, constructed 400 years before. This temple is unique in the sense that Sri Venkadavan from Tiruppathi and Sri Varadharajan from Kanchipuram appear in one unified form as Venkata Varadha Raja Perumal, with His consort Perundevi Thaayaar. The present H.H Jeer and earlier Jeers have enjoyed the beauty of the Lord and offered MangaLaasaasanams. The temple needs financial support from Aasthikas even for Nithyaaraadhanam. The trustees have made an appeal and the details are given in the following web-site which also has Photo Album of the Temple, besides useful information: http://perumbakkam-perumal.blogspot.com/ I wish the members of ramanuja E-journal have opportunity to visit the web-site and consider generous financial assistance. Kindly ciculate the mail to our members. dAsan, Srinivasaraghavan
