Guest guest
srE lOka GuravEa namahA: sAra Sangraham Sri PiLLai lOkAchAryA is the beacon of our faith in the sense that he gave us a crystal clear guidance and followed that in practice. True, Sri RAmAnujA bequeathed us with matchless treasures but his role was different. He had to tide over other faiths and establish the basic philosophy of our tenets in that light. However, Sri PiLLai LOkAchAryAr crystallised these thoughts into aphosrism-s -- like sections in a legal acts - even as early as 800 year back, and lucidly gave to us in a logical and organised manner. These are backed basically by aruLich cheyal and vEdhics/upanishads. For our pUrvAchAryAs the mind is always dwelling in the important three secrets or rahashya thrayangaL namely, thirumandhiram, dvayam and charama slokam. pUrvAcharyAs look every works of AzhwAr-s in this persepctive. The avathArikai to the first thiruvAi mozhi "oru nAyakamAi" will corroborate this point. EDu " dhvayathin uthra kAnDArthathai aruLich seigiRAr mudhal mUnRu pathAlum; ini mEAl mUnRu pathAlEA pUrva kANdathai aruLich sigiRAr' " SwAmi Nam AzhwAr has blessed us the explanation to second part of dhvyama in The first three hundreds of Thiru-Vai-Mozhi and goes on to explain the first part in the next three huyndreds' Thus, their analytical and devoted mind always thinks of various permuntations and combinations to enjoy, cherish , interpret and understand the various divine works of AzhwAr-s from this point of view. Accordinlgy, SwAmi PiLLai lOkAchAryAr explains the fact that the whole thiru-vAi-mozhi in itself is dhvAyam the divine couplets and each of the divine words are embedded in each of the ten. This is systemactically established and explained in the great work "sAra -Sangraham" .Since the essence of the magnum opus of SwAmi Nam-AzhwAr is brought about briefly, this divine treartise is titled 'sAra-Sangraham' Sri Azhariga maNavALap perumAL nAyanAr in Acharya Hrdhayam while elaborating on the contents of ThriuvAimozhi on various angles specially mentions this in chUrnikai 210 which goes as 'dhvyArtham dhErka charaNAgathi enRadhu sAra sangrahathilEa" Sri PiLLai lOkAchAryAr has blessed us with Eighteen works - known as astA-dhasa rahashyam. sAra-Sangraham is the eighth divine work dedicated to the divine couplet.
