Guest guest
SrImatE rAmAnujAya nama: SrI lakshmI narasimha parabrahmaNE nama: dear vaishNavas, The current thread 'The current state of our sampradayam' is generating wonderful discussion, all defending the sampradayam and fortifying its following. It is agreeable to all of us that the all perfect sampradayam has nothing to lose because of its bad followers. Sampradayam offers us the platform with which we can become unmotivated unalloyed pure devotees of the Supreme Lord, SrImAn nArAyaNa. In the recent times many gurus sprouted with some symptoms of spirituality and misguiding innocent/greedy people. However, it is true that we can be misled by someone only when our hearts are impure and our Lord allows this happen. In one sense, it is true that it is the sankalpa of the Lord for us to be cheated by these mundane teachings. However, it is our choice also, because the Lord never lets His devotees down. Only when we show cracks of our devotion unto Him, or at the bottom of our heart we did not want to worship Him, then only we get away from His fold and follow the cheaters. Essentially the word cheating means, our intention to be independant of God. Which when we develop, the Lord who is antaryami, allows this happen. Hence we cannot say that Lord is responsible for our fall. Now, in ramanuja sampradayam, we believe individual persons or souls to be real and distinct. This also means that each individual has to make his/her own decision to surrender to the Supreme Lord. If it is a forced or non-voluntary one, such worship is unacceptable to our Lord. A help in any body's spiritual life is only to mean to educate one about our philosophy. But surrender should be voluntary. That is why, no one becomes a vaishNava by birth. Only when one accepts samAsrayanam from a spiritual master, who is in the guru parampara of SrI ramanuja, one becomes a vaishnava. It is unfortuante that some of these initiated devotees are also taking side tracks for short term benefits. This can be mainly due to greed and incomplete belief on the Lord, guru and scriptures. Acharyas of our sampradaya are very compassionate that they do not sit at one place and worship their Lord, but they travel all the land to sanctify the minds of kaliyuga people. Which is why, we call them parivrAjaka acharyas. This is only due to their nirhetuka kripa for badha jivatmas. We must be very grateful to our acharyas for what they are doing to us. Instead of questioning acharyas for not teaching every individual, it becomes the responsibility of the convinced disciple to spread the word of his/her guru. All the benefitted disciples should spread the message of Sri ramanuja's teachings to the nook and corner of this world. When there is light of knowledge of God, there is no ignorance. It is rightly pointed out by many of the members that there should be books spread with basic information in simple language to the people. We do not have to fight each and every false baba individually when we give right education to people. Because in the light of right knowledge, people can judge them selves on whom they can put their trust. jai SrIman nArAyaNa! dAsOham, SrIperumbUdUru vEnkaTa vinOd.
