How do we know Sri Ramanuja is Sesha avatara, Andal Bhu devi etc...??

JAi Sri Krishna

 

I come to understand that Various Acharayas and Alavars are belived to

have divine status such as

 

1) Srimath Ramanuja is Seen as Sesha Avatara

2) Goda Devi, Sri Andal is beleived to be Bhudevi avatara

3) Nammalavar- Vishvaksena

4) Vishnu chitta- Pakshi Raja avatara

5) other Alavars- seen as incarnations of the various Ayudhas and

diyva Alankarams (vanamala, kaustabha etc) of Sri Bhagavan.

 

Now my question is that on what do which base these beliefs upon????

Are these incarnations predicted in Shastras??? Or did the Varoius

Great Personalities mentioned above reveal anything of theie divine

status during their earthly appearance????
