All Thenkalai nithyanusandanam books show that this was indeed authored by PeriyaJeeyar. Olais from 1600's have the same information, to support this claim. Periya Jeeyar is also attributed with adding this salutation to Swami Emberumananar to the daily kramam. His work on ThiruAradhanaKramam makes the major addition, by adding Emberumanar into the Nitya Thiruaradhana. (The main changes he did from Emberumanar's Nitya) 1: Adding Emberumanar to daily prayers, 2: Replacing KandarulaVendum (in place of Samarpayami) and adding Srimathe Narayanana nama: (after all actions ) eg: Arghyam KandarulaVendum, Srimathe Narayanana nama: Padyam KandarulaVendum, Srimathe Narayanana nama: Achamaneeyam KandarulaVendum, Srimathe Narayanana nama: )
