Here is an excerpt from Sri U.Ve Srinidhi Swami (upanyaasaka) about the

Dinacharya sthothrams (copied from an earlier email from Vedics).

Manavaala Maamunikal (Incarnation of Sri Ramanujacharya) had many sishyaas as he

maintened the leadership of our sampradaayaa. Among the sishyaas Maamunikal

recognized eight aachaaryaas as " ASHTA DIGGAJAACHAARYAAS" just like Swamy

Ramanuja's 74 Simhaasanaathipathis. Swami Erumbiappa was one of them among the

eight. He loved Swami Maamunikal a lot. Swamy Erumbiappa was enthralled by

Swamy Maamunigal's" THIRUMENI SOUNDARYAM" which made him sing these Dinacharya

sthothrams. The sthothram describes about Swamy Maamunikal's daily routine,

nitya karmaanushtaanam, nitya kaarya kramam, etc. Our Acharyas recite this

daily.

Please feel free to pass on the message to others who might be interested.
