Vibuthi as prasadam at Thirukkannapuram - Is this true?

I heard that VibhUthi is given as PrasASaadham to devotees

instead of TuLasi in one of the Divyadesam at

Thirukkannapuram. Is that so? can any one calrify the

Dhaathparyam involved?

Shri Swamy,

 

Adiyen Hari from London, I have visited the temple

last time Jan 2005, i have not heard or received any

vibhuthi as prasasaadham

 

Shri souriraja perumal is got a special pongal

prasasaadham, which is an unique taste, which can not

be compare with any other pongal i have ever tasted

Dear bhagavatas,

 

On the 7th day of the vaikasi brahmotsavam, Sri Sowri perumal gives a rare

darshan to the devotees. First emperuman gives darshan as Sri Mahavishnu

who saves the world. During the night he gives darshan as brahma the

creator and on the same day during the early morning for a muhurta time (3

and 3/4 hours) gives darshan as samhara moorthi rudran. This is a

speciality in that divya desam alone. Probably during that time vibhuthi is

distributed as prasadam (adiyen is not sure about this)
