Guest guest
Jai Sri Krishna Hanuman is one of the most revered dieties of Vaishanavsim. Im an curious as to how Srivaisnavism views some of the popular held beileifs of sri Hanuman. Firstly is Hanumanji regarded as a Nithya-suri similar to Garuda, Vishvaksena etc????? Secondly who is Hanuman according to the statvika shastras? Some (such as Madhava Vaishnavas) regard him as Vayu himself ...Also there is a conection with Hanuman and Lord Shiva; (Humuman chalisa says "Shankara Suvana Kesari Nandan etc...") my family preist told me he is amsa of one of the 11 Rudra forms of Shiva.. How are these beleifs construed according to Srivaishnavam??? Thirdly in mentioning Hanuman chalisa. From my understanding this hymn glorifyies Hanumanji but its clearly states Rama is Supreme and Hunuman is Bhaktha. However what is the view from a more informed Srivaisnava perspective??? Thank you

As he has the highest BUDDHI BALAM DAIRYAM Vakku et all he is the embodiment of Strength & Sreshta in Buddhi & worshipped as a GOD by all inclding Vaishnavas Jai Sriman Narayana--Jai Hanumanji ki AANDAL THIRUVADIGALE CHARANAM Dasan Adiyen B.R.Parthasarathi On 1/9/06, tesh_tel <tesh_tel (AT) (DOT) co.uk> wrote: Jai Sri KrishnaHanuman is one of the most revered dieties of Vaishanavsim.
