Guest guest
sri: Humble Pranam to all devotees: http://www.radioramanuja.com/eb/ A few notes about this ThiruAradhana Kramam booklet: (i) Only those who have undergone panchasamskaaram (samaasrayaNam) can perform thiru aaraadhanam - please respect the tradition in this regard. (ii) This booklet is intended to be a paper guide to be used along with thiruvallikkENi Sri deivanaayagam svAmi's tapes where svAmi has recorded the procedure. The audio is available from any Vedics center, or at http://vedics.net/products/audio/dns.html (iii) There are some slight variations in the thiruArAdhana procedure, according to the AchArya lineage that one belongs to. (iv) The two authentic thiru ArAdhana karmas for our Ramanuja sampradAya are 1. svAmi Ramanuja's nithya grantham, and 2. svAmi maNavALa mAmuni's jeeyarpadi thiruaaraadhana kramam. Both are identical in all aspects except for the procedures introduced by svAmi maNavALa mAmuni to include Sri Ramanuja in the ThiruAradhadhana and use of more of the aruLichcheyal, and to use more Tamizh or maNipravALam words during the procedure. (v) The version recorded by Sri Deivanaayagam svAmi does not have all the procedures present in jeeyar padi. We have made some additions wherever we felt that real important details were inadvertently left out of the tapes (E.g. in the tape, the explicit viNNappam for punar mantraasanam procedure is not there – this, of course, is an oversight, and we added it). Wherever we have added, we added directly from the Jeeyar padi. (vi) The tape, and this booklet is only for "laghu thiruvaaraadhanam" or fast thiru aaraadhanam. The real thiru aaraadhana procedure, in jeeyarpadi takes significantly longer time, and has more procedures (mainly with respect to AchArya thiru aaraadhanam). We will be glad to provide copies of jeeyarpadi to those who wish to have it. It is not yet translated into English – so the copies are in Tamizh. (vii) We hope that the users of this booklet will be able to derive benefit from this booklet, but also that they will talk to their AchAryAs to get the variations that their AchArya Parampara has followed into their daily thiru ArAdhana. http://www.radioramanuja.com/eb/
