Maasi Mirugaseerusham is the Thiruavatara Utsavam of Sri Ramanujar's acharya

Thirukkachi Nambigal. His avatara stalam is Poovirundavalli at the

outskirts of Chennai.

The great acharya who was responsible for bringing Sri Ramanuja to

vishistadvaita sampradayam.

The great acharya who was doing aalavatta kainkaryam to Sri Varadarajan

at

Kanchee.

The great acharya who was talking to Lord Varadaraja and Perundevi thayar

on

a daily basis

The great acharya who got the 6 basic words from Lord Varadaraja which

cleared all the basics for Sri Udayavar to get into Vishtadvaitam.

The great acharya whose "Ponagam saida sedam" was wished by Sri

Ramanuja

The great acharya who use to walk on a daily basis from Poovirunthavalli

to

Kancheepuram solely to do Kainkaryam.

Please notice Thirukkachi Nambigal in Mena Pallaku. A

special palanquin which was such an awesome splendour in beauty on its

very

look can be enjoyed only being there in person in Poovirundavalli. The

replication of this vahanam was tried in many other places but was not

perfected.
