Special functions at Datta Temple - Baton Rouge

As you know that His Holiness Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji sent the

following message commanding the devotees to attend even if they have the

slightest chance, the 4th Anniversary and Special functions. Please read the

following message of Sri Swamiji carefully:

Sri Swamiji today instructed to convey the following message. Please go through

the same and spread the word.

‘‘IN ANTICIPATION OF SOME DIFFICULTIES IN THE FUTURE, SRI SWAMIJI IS SENDING

A MARAKA SHIVA LINGAM WITH SRINIVSA SASTRY, THE SECOND PRIEST WHO WOULD BE

ATTACHED TO THE DATTA TEMPLE HE WILL ARRIVE IN TIME FOR THE ANNIVERSARY

CELEBRATIONS OF BATON ROUGE DATTA TEMPLE ON 14TH AND 15TH JULY. IT IS SRI

SWAMIJI''S COMMAND THAT ALL THOSE FOR WHOM EVEN THE SLIGHEST POSSIBILITY OF

GOING TO BATON ROUGE EXIST, GO TO BATON ROUGE TEMPLE ON THESE DAYS AND RECEIVE

THE TEERTHAM OF THE SHIVA LINGAM AND PARTICIPATE IN THE SHIVA PUJA AND DATTA

PUJA.

Based on that message, with Sri Swamiji's Divine Blessings, Datta Temple is

planning TWO SPECIAL functions as commanded by Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji is

sending Spatika Shiva Shankti Lingam and Special Padukas. These Paduaks are not

to be consider as mere padukas. These Padukas are representing His Holiness. We

will consider these Padukas as if His Holiness is coming to the Temple wearing

these Special Padukas and we should treat as if Sri Swamiji is actually coming

to the Temple.

We will be receiving these Special Padukas with Purna Kumbha and take them

ceremoniously in to Guru Nilayam in the Temple and follow all the protocols

that befit our Sadguru.

The following three main activities will take place on 14th & 15th:

1) Spatika Shiva Shakti Linga Abhishekam will take lace on Sunday (15th) - Sponsorship $21

2) Special Paduka Puja will also be done on Sunday (15th) - Sponsorship $21

3) 4th Anniversary (two day program) celebrations will take place on 14th &

15th (The program is printed below for your information. - Sponsorship $ 51

We request you to do the following:

1) If you are planning to attend, please let us know how many of you are coming

and what time you are reaching the Temple. This information would help us plan

to make arrangements to prepare Maha Prasadam. Please respond to

2) If you would like to Sponsor any of the functions in absentia, please do so
