Guest guest
Sirish Poondla(sidp) tummala Monday, July 30, 2001 6:04 PM Sri Swamiji's Premonitions about the accident Sri Guru Datta. I had the darshan of His Holiness Parama Pujya Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji on July 18th evening. Sri Swamiji was in the hospital as surgery was performed on the right hand to place steel plates. We went so early that we were the first to have Sri Swamiji's darshan. Sri Swamiji was smiling magnanimously and said through signs pointing to the right hand "This is so small that it is nothing. Do not worry about it." I have spent 18th night in the Ashram. I heard the following through some of the devotees in the ashram: Had Sri Swamiji not cancelled the trip to USA, accident would have happened in USA. It is Sri Swamiji's choice to be around Mysore on that day. On the day of the accident, after Homa and Sri Chakra Puja, Sri Swamiji said I may come back in three days or three weeks or three months. Generally, vehicles used for Sri Swamiji's trips is decided three days in advance. Fifteen minutes before leaving for the trip, Sri Swamiji specifically changed vehicle to use Mercedes car. This car had air bags and lives were saved because of the air bags. Few weeks before the accident, Sri Swamiji told one of the Ashram residents to go to Jayalakshmi Puram (Mekadatu) on Saturday July 14th (surgery performed on this day) and perform pooja in Sri Swamiji's name and do Anna Dana. Had the lorry not hit Sri Swamiji's car, it would have hit a school bus carrying about 50 children. Therefore Sri Swamiji saved 50 children by taking this on to himself. On July 19 th Sri Swamiji returned to Ashram. On July 25 th, I had Sri Swamiji's darshan again in the morning. Sri Swamiji was almost back to normal and good health. Jai Guru Datta.
