Sri Swamiji goes to Switzerland

Sri Swamiji's health is quite normal and the cast on the right arm will be

removed on Monday. Sri Swamiji intends to travel to Switzerland and the

concert in Luzern on 11th August will take place in the divine presence of

Sri Swamiji. Dr.L.Subramaniam, reknowned violinist will be the prime feature

in the concert. Sri Swamiji will also be present in the Krishna Janmashtami

programme on 12th August( Sunday) in Hasliberg, Switzerland.

Important information for those who wish to come to Switzerland to have

Darshan of Sri Swamiji.

 

1. There will be no opportunity for personal audience or interview with Sri

Swamiji.

 

2.Even though the visit of Sri Swamiji to Switzerland had been cancelled the

courses and the hotel are fully booked. People who are interested to come

for the concert and for the Homa and Krishna-Janmastami celebration on

Sunday, August 12th, are kindly requested to make their own arrangements.

Following some helpful information:

 

THE CONCERT:

Tickets can be ordered at the TICKET CORNER, phone: +41 (0)848 800 800, or

www.ticketcorner.ch.

To buy the tickets right away is highly recommended, since over 500 tickets

are sold out of 800.

 

SUNDAY CELEBRATIONS:

Place: 'Gemeindehaus Hasliberg' at Hasliberg Goldern

Time: 10:00 until approx. 14:00 (opening of the hall at 9:00)

Parking: at car parking TWING (near the cable car station 'Wasserwendi'

(only 3 minutes away from the Gemeindehaus - the Gemeindehaus is situated in

the curve of a winding road, no parking near the house)

Participants are invited to take Prasadam after the celebrations.

 

ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVELLING:

For accommodation there are two options:

1. Overnight in Lucerne:

is very much recommended. To travel to Lucerne is very easy by train from

all directions. On Sunday morning, Hasliberg can be reached by train and

postbus in 1 1/2 hours, leaving Lucerne in direction Brünig-Hasliberg every

hour at 35 minutes past the hour. At the Brünig pass one gets off and

continues the journey by post bus up to Hasliberg Goldern (there is

immediate connection, the bus standing right at the Station).

station (the KKL, where the concert takes place, is right next to the

take place at the 'Gemeindehaus' at Hasliberg Goldern. Please look out for a

hotel nearby.

 

Way to Hasliberg by car:

ZURICH - LUZERN - on the by-pass highway of Luzern follow the board

INTERLAKEN - after Luzern the highway splits - there you follow the board

INTERLAKEN/SARNEN - after the highway the road goes up on a mountain pass,

on the way to the top you bypass SARNEN (here you have a lake to your

right), then bypass GISWIL, then LUNGERN (here you have again a lake to your

right) - finally you reach 'BRUENIG Passhöhe' at the top of the mountain

pass.

here you turn left towards HASLIBERG - after the left turn you drive for

about 12 minutes - always direction HASLIBERG REUTI (there are four villages

having Hasliberg and an additional word as name, you will have to go to

HASLIBERG GOLDERN) - the last part of the road (for about 2 km) is a little

bit narrow. The Hotel Viktoria will be at your right, oppisite to the

funicular station.
