Guest guest
Verse 7 Na bhoge na yoge navaa vaajiraajou Na kaamtaamukhe naiva vitteshu chittam // Guroranghripadme manashchenna lagnam Taatah kim? Taatah kim? Taatah kim? Taatah kim? // So far Swamiji has said about all the treasures one possessed and also the ambitions one is subjected to. But Swamiji has resolved that if the mind doesn't set on Guru, all that is of no use. Now he tells us about sacrifice. Your mere telling is of no use that you have no desire for luxuries, no interest in yogas, worldly actions and in women and that you have achieved detachment, and that you have no faith in Guru and yet have done what all must needs be done. But one won't get redemption at all. Unless you have initiation of Guru, however much you might have detachment, you can't go anywhere without it, which is like a passport. A person, for that matter, says that his own father is his Guru and that he has initiated him. Furthemore, the initiations are also broadcast through radio. Some even give the initiation with a spell just for ten rupees nowadays. What is the use of all these? One has to understand the essence of Guru first. Mind has to be concentrated upon Guru. Then and then alone you reap the benefits. Send instant messages & get email alerts with Messenger. http://im./
