Guest guest
Sri Gurobhyo Namah Jaya Guru Datta PROCEDURE FOR MEDITATING UPON THE GURU Preamble: Swamiji does meditate upon Guru in order that his disciples may learn and follow the good tradition of praying to Guru before beginning any good act as follows. He prays to the Primordial Male who originated this traditoon for the good of Mankind. Gurur Brahmaa Guror Vishnuh Gurordevo Maheswarah / Guruh Saakshaat Param Brahma Tasmai Sri Gurave Namah // Guru is Brahma (Lord Creator), Guru is Vishnu (Lord preserver), Guru is Maheswar (Lord of Destruction). Guru is the incarnation of Parabrahman (The Absolute). I salute such of my Guru. Sri Datta Sadguru is the personification of the Trinity who had brought the holy tradition of the Guru to the human world. Thus he is the True Guru to any man. All the true Gurus who descended in that tradition are also variations of him and so they are the images of Brahma, Vishnu and Siva. In effect Guru is another name of 'Parabrahman' and I bow down before such Datta Guru.
