Guest guest
as i understand it brahmarishi is the highest order of rishi -- it is the stage of rishi"ness" in which they are equivalent to brahma himself. Vasishta maharshi is an example of another brahmarishi. Although one can be born as "Brahmarishi" I believe others such as Visvamitra maharishi attained Brahmarishi status by penance/tapana/sadhana. Swamiji is a brahmarishi. and actually, the spelling is correct I believe, because it is said as a single word and sounds as it is spelled. jai guru datta!
