Jaya Guru Datta,

Here is today's saying:

“ However intelligent one may be, if one is not vigilant, one is easily

knocked out of his path by the mire of delusion. The senses are so powerful

as to draw away the mind from his chosen divine ideal. Therefore, night and

day, at all times and under all circumstances, vigilance is necessary to

preserve the mind from lapsing into impurities. The devotee, therefore,

remembering always the key word, ‘vigilance,’ should engage himself in

practices to discipline his mind and keep it always pure and sublime.”
