Jaya Guru Datta,

Here is today's saying:

“There were two ants. Ant A stayed at salt heap and ate salt. Ant B was

near a sugar heap eating sugar. One day ant B asked ant A to taste the

sweet sugar. Though ant A ate a little of sugar, it could not feel the

sweetness. Then ant B said, 'Spit out the salt particle still retained in

your mouth; then only you can enjoy the sweetness of sugar. If salt is

removed, taste of sugar can be felt.'

Similarly, if a person allows wories, vascillation, infatuation, etc. to

dominate one's mind, he cannot properly understand the preachings of the

Guru. How can he retain them well and follow them sincerely?"
