Guest guest
Verse 31 Gurukaarashchaamdhakaarastu Rukaarastannirodhakah / Amdhakaara vinaashitvaat Gururityahidheeyate 'Gu' is darkness; 'Ru; is that which drives it away. As He drives away darkness, He is called Guru. In the above lines, it has been said twice about darkness. Why? Darkness also means sin. A true Sadguru thinks much about the sin of His disciple, because it diminishes as He goes on thinking about it. He has that power. He doesn't think about His disciple's virtue, nor appreciate it in him. If He does, that virtue dinimishes. People ignorant of this clue mistakenly think that their Guru doesn't like their acts. It is an illusion and wrong to think so. If the Guru doesn't take what we offer it is bad for us; and if He admires what is offered to Him, it is also bad for us equally.
