Guest guest
Verse 40 Yasyaanugraha maatrena Hridyutpadyeta tatkshanaat / Jnaanam cha paramaanamdah Sadguruh Shiva eva sah // Shiva is that Sadguru by whose grace the disciple sees the light of knowledge and bliss kindled at once in his heart. Swamiji gives the formula here, though obliquely, as to how to recognize Sadguru. Swamiji has said already that on account of Guru's grace the disciple gets knowledge and bliss at once in his heart. It means at His look, touch, and thought, a flash of rare knowledge sparkles on our heart. Because of that, though all the significance of that knowledge is not apprehended by the intellect well, our indefineable delight swells up in the heart. Hence, whose recalling and presence makes us forgetful of all our sorrows, and enthusiasm and happiness are aroused, is to be recognized as one's true Guru. This has been explained at length at the beginning of the book. Make a great connection at Personals. http://personals.
