Guest guest
Preamble: Our attention is not directed toward our Sadguru because of our MOHA or desire of the body. So Swamiji tells us about the nature of the body. Verse 41 Bhasma keeta vidamtam hi Deham stoolam varaanane / Tvan mootra rudhiraamtraasti Mala maamsaadi bhaajanam // Shiva says to Parvati that the flesh, excretions, puss, blood, intestines, bones etc. are the ingredients of this gross body. What happens to this body in the end? If it is put to fire, it is reduced to ashes; if buried, it gets decomposed; or if it is thrown away, it will be infested with worms. At the time of this discussion between Shiva and Parvati, several great saints were seated in front of them. Some had already tasted nectar, but their bodies comprised five elements. All those whose bodies constituted of five elements need the caution about the nature of the body. Shiva thells them this particularly. Then need we not think of its application for us?
