Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, This is a Guru Gita special report! In Germany, in 1988, after a Guru Gita workshop at the home of Uppamanyu, (Klaus Reining,) Sri Swamiji picked out some verses from the Guru Gita to be sung at satsang. I am under the impression that they are still sung at the German satsangs, and possibly at the Swiss satsangs as well. Swami Manasa, (who was then Radhakrishna,) composed a special tune for these verses. (If you are really desperate to hear it, you can download Noteworthy Player from http://www.noteworthysoftware.com and we will send you a file that you can play so that you can learn the melody. It will take some time, as it is not yet created.) But it would be fine to sing these verses to the Datta Stavam tune. We are sending these out first with all the notes and the translations, and then in a separate e-mail with just the sanskrit which you can print out to pass out at satsang or use for your prayers. Each will be sent as a separate e-mail. Sri Guru Datta, The folks who bring you the Guru Gita Verses. Make a great connection at Personals. http://personals.
