But He is an ocean of compassion. Obeisance to such a Guru. Guru is described earlier as the root and not as a relative. True. It becomes possible because of the relation with Him for the past so many births. To reach Him now, all are not that fortunate. So Guru is "Aadi Guru' and 'Anadhi Bandu' (the oldest kin).
