Jaya Guru Datta,

Here is today's saying:

“Many people claim themselves to be devotees, but when they are asked to do

something, not all are ready to do. A true devotee implicitly follows what is

told to him.

Once sage Narada asked Krishna as to who among Radha, Rukmini, Satyabhama and

other Gopikas was really devoted to him. Lord Krishna asked Sage Narada to

watch and played a drama in front of Radha, Rukmini, Satyabhama, and others.

Suddenly He fell to the ground and started screaming that He had stomach pain.

No one knew what to do. Krishna said that the dust of anyone of them would cure

His stomach pain. Sage Narada asked Rukmini, she refused to give stating that

it was sinful to do that. Satyabhama also said the same. None of the Gopikas

agreed. Finally it was Radha who volunteered to give. Krishna took it and said

that the pain was gone. The meaning of it is that Radha loved Krishna so much

that she was prepared to do anything if it pleased him. Such should be one's

devotion."
