Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Now that we have finished the Guru Gita, we will be sending a verse or two per day of the Bhagavad Gita. In addition, we will be adding the commentary from the Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita, as put together by Swami Dattananda based on the discourses of Sri Swamiji. These will not show up until somewhere in Chapter 2. (Most of the time, there will be a line by line correlation to these lessons, but the first few lessons do not really correspond to lines so much as give an overview of the theme of karma yoga.) We will have the all one hundred published lessons from the Bhagavad Gita available in about a week, so if you would like these 100 files on your computer so you can read them or print them out at your leisure, let us know and we will e-mail them to you. The genesis of this idea of sending a verse a day comes from a speech Swamiji gave in Trinidad where He spoke of a nightly checklist. One of the items on the checklist asked if you had studied at least one verse of the Bhagavad Gita or the Guru Gita that day. If you read each of these e-mails daily, you will be able to answer that question with a yes.
