Meditation On the Gita

Verse 1

Om! O Bhagavad Gita -- which was imparted to Arjuna by

the Supreme Lord Narayana Himself and which was

incorporated in the middle of the great scripture, the

Mahabharata, by the ancient sage Vyasa -- the Divine

Mother, the showerer of the nectar of Advaita (the

philosophy of non-duality) and consisting of eighteen

chapters, O loving Mother Gita, the destroyer of the

ills of earthly life, I meditate on Thee.
