Verse 3

Prapanna-paareejataaya totra-vetra'ika paanaye;

jnaana-mudraaya Krishnaaya geetaamruta duhe namah

Salutations to Krishna, who like the wish-yielding

tree, fulfils all the wishes of htose who take refuge

in Him, the holder of Hnana Mudra (a position of the

hands in which the tips of the thumb and forefinger of

each hand touch each other, symbolizing the dawn of

knowledge), the milker of the Gita nectar, who holds

the cowherd's cane in the hand.
