Guest guest
Jai Guru Datta, Today I was browsing through a book of poetry called The Way of Power by Red Hawk. In it is a section of poems about his relationship with his guru. I thought I might share one with the group. Sri Guru Datta, Daria DYCNJ Entering Reality We are going to the home of the spiritual master having flown a 1000 miles and driven an hour and a half because there is nothing in this world for me like beholding the wonder of His face. As we enter the gates of the ashram I am reminded of what a pilot once told me: there is a point when an airplane is 1/4 mile out from the end of the runway, 150 feet off the ground, 200 mph. When no matter what occurs it cannot go back on its landing. They call this "entering reality." We approach the house and we see Mister Lee ( the poet's guru) sitting there in his chair waiting. As we reach the sliding glass doors He looks up, smiling eyes like two planets consumed with glory. We enter There is no going back.
