Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “You speak of vision of Shiva. Vision is always of an object. When there is an object, there must be a subject. The value of the vision is the same as that of the seer. But Shiva is Eternal; Shiva is that which lies behind sight and buddhi. Shiva is the consciousness underlying the seer. The seer cannot deny the existence of the Self. There is not a moment when the Shiva Consciousness does not exist; nor can the seer remain apart from Shiva Consciousness at any time. The seer cannot see himself. Does he deny then, his existence, because he cannot see himself? Nothing can be without Shiva. Surrender to Him and abide by His will and do as He pleases. Leave everything and unburden yourself. You have no longer any care. That is surrender, true surrender. That is Bhakti. Shiva is then the background underlying the subject and object. Shiva is repose and Shiva is action."
