Verse 27

 

taan sameejshya sa kaunteyaH sarvaan bandhuun

avasthitaan /

 

kR^ipayaa paray'aavishhTo vishheedann idam abraveet //

 

Thus he, the son of Kunti (Arjuna) seeing all those

relations stationed in their ranks, spoke thus

sorrowfully, moved with deep pity:

 

Verses 28 and 29

 

arjuna uvaacha:

 

DR^ishh{}Tvema.n svajana.n kR^ishhNa yuyutsu.n

samupasthitam // 28

 

Seedanti mama gaatraaNi mukha.n cha parishushhyati /

vepathush cha shareere me roma-harshhash cha jaayate

// 29

GaaNDeeva.n sra.nsate hastaat tvakchaiva paridahyate /

 

Arjuna said:

 

O Krishna, seeing these, my kinsmen, gathered here

eager for a fight, my limbs fail me, my mouth dries

up, my body trembles and my hairs stand on end. The

bow Gandiva slips from my hand and my skin is burning

all over.
