Guest guest Posted March 22, 2002 Report Share Posted March 22, 2002 Jaya Guru Datta, Next weekend, April 6th and 7th, Sharmaji, the priest from the Datta Temple in Baton Rouge, will be coming to the San Jose and Santa Cruz areas for three events. Everyone is welcome. We especially would like to invite the wonderful devotees from the Los Angeles area who hosted many of us northern Californians when Sharmaji was there in January. The first pujas will be at 10 AM on Saturday April 6th at Mike and Sarada Raghavan's home at: 2133 Shiangzone Court San Jose, CA 95121 408-274-4774 At 5PM there will be pujas and satsang at the home of Vijay Negi: 505 Shell Parkway #1106 Redwood Shores, CA 94065 650-654-0304 Bhaskar Rao's family is co-sponsoring this event. On Sunday, April 7th at 10 AM, there will be homa and pujas at the home of Guy Dickson. Guy lives in Bonny Doon on Pine Flats Road. This is near Santa Cruz. We will send his street address and directions in a subsequent e-mail. Attendance at all the events are free, of course. Prasadam (blessed meals) will be served after each event. Participation (giving your name,etc. and getting prasad in the form of coins, key chains,etc. with pictures of deities, etc.) in these events will be $11 per event, or $51 for all 5.
