Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “I am the form of Chit. (chit = Jnana - knowledge). Therefore, I am 'chetana' (endowed with knowledge). Therefore I am certainly different from 'chetya' (that which is grasped by the Chetana). Buddhi acts only if there is prana. It is the same with the indriyas too. Neither of them can act if there is no prana. Is this not true? In the deep sleep state, there is prana. But is there any action by the buddhi or the sense organs? In the Jagrat and swapna states, the Prana will be like a king who is amidst a big army (and therefore not easily recognized). In the Sushupti state, Prana can be easily recognized (like a king sitting on the throne). Indriyas (sense organs) are not under the command of the Prana. If they were to be so, they would not rest when their boss is functioning. Therefore, the inner instruments (namely manas, buddhi, chitta, and ahankaara), the sense organs, the prana - all these belong to me who is of the form of Sachchidananda, to whom wakeful and dream states belong."
