Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “After some time, the past Karma to be experienced during the wakeful state again crops up. As a result of this, the Jeevaatma, immersed in ignorance will associate with the intellect and will come out as if coming out of a cave. After coming out, he will enter either the wakeful state or dream state depending upon the nature of Karma standing in front of him. Thus, because of the past karma, the circle of these three states will go on incessantly. There is no beginning or end. There is no impediment to this circle. We can now appreciate that these three states are established and abolished depending on the past karma. But the state of 'Prana' remains the same in these three states. In the wakeful state, the indriyas and the intellect will be functioning. In the dream state, only intellect functions. In the deep sleep state, even the activity of the intellect is abolished. But in all these states, the status of 'Prana' (life force) remains unaltered. How is this possible?"
