Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “All the discussions till now have been about the first 'I' viz. about the ego which always asserts 'I' 'I'. Can this 'I' (ego) be the 'I' which we have been trying to comprehend is the question before us now. It seems quite possible because it seems to be subtler than the "Prana' and even it serves as a sub-stratum for prana. Also, everyone addresses oneself as 'I'. Therefore, some consider this ego ('I') to be the ultimate 'I'. But there are some strong evidences against this notion. This ('I') (ego) has the tendency of becoming established and abolished (established during wakeful and dream states; abolished in the deep sleep state). Can that which comes and goes be the ultimate 'I'?"
