It does not undergo any kind of modification. It stands as witness to all intellects and thoughts. Still, when Buddhi comes in its contact, the ignorant people say that the Atma is seeing. This impression is due to wrong imposition of the attributes of Buddhi on the Atma. In reality, Atma does not have Drashtutva (observership)."
