Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “In reality, buddhi is inert. It is incapable of independently perceiving the objects of the organs of perception and assuming the form of the objects. Still, because the consciousness of the pratyagatma is reflecting in it, it has acquired that power. Observe here that it is not said that the atma reflects in the buddhi; instead it is said that pratyagatma reflects in the buddhi. There isn't much difference here. Because atma is sometimes identified with the indriyas, manas, the intellect or the prana, the special term - 'Pratyagatma' is used here. It is to stress again that atma is different from all those things. Pratyak means subtle. (0r that which lies inside.)"
