Jaya Guru Datta,

Here is today's saying:

“The domain of buddhi is proximal to Atman. The light of Atman reflects in the

buddhi. The wind blowing over a previously calm lake causes the reflection of

the moon in it to appear as though the moon itself is attaining that state.

Just as there is no movement in the moon, there will be no change in the state

of the Atman, too. We are only assuming that the Atma attained the dream state!

How long does this dream state last? We have already answered a similar

question in this lesson. As long as the karma responsible for the dream state

is present, this state continues. After the effect of that karma diminishes,

the buddhi slips to another state."
