Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: "Because the buddhi is completely immersed in ignorance during the deep-sleep state, the reflection of the atma chaitanya in the buddhi also gets drowned in Ajnana. We should remember here that it is only the reflection which ceases to exist, and not its source - namely, the Atman. Still, because the reflection of the atma is lost and the buddhi gets drowned in the deep-sleep state, people think that the Atma itself was subjected to the state of deep-sleep. This is called Adhyasa. It is clear from the lessons 10 and 11 that the three states of jagrat, svapna and sushupti are the states of only the buddhi."
