Here is today's saying:

 

“All objects in this creation including the human beings have resulted out of

unequal and disproportionate mixture of these three Gunas. Because the three

Gunas, which are the root cause of Creation (Prakriti), are present in this

Ajnaana, it (Ajnaana) is called as Moola Prakriti - i.e., the root cause of

creation.

 

Scriptures say that Satva is white, Rajas is red, and Tamas is black. Moola

Prakriti is like a rope made of these three coloured threads."
