Jaya Guru Datta,

Here is today's saying:

“Although Ishwara is of the form of reflection in Maya, He is the Lord of Maya.

Because Ishwara himself is in possession of Satva Guna, he keeps Maya under

control by the power of Satva Guna. Therefore there are no modifications in his

form. When the same Ishwara gets annexed with Taamasi, He becomes the cause for

creation.

This Ishwara has many names such as Avyaakrita, Saguna Brahma, Shabala Brahma,

Mayashabala Brahma, Antaryaami and so on. He Himself is both the Upadana Karana

as well as the Nimitta Karana for the universe, just as the spider is both the

Material cause as well as the Efficient cause for the web. Such Ishwara is of

the form of Sat-Chit- Ananda.”
