Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “Creation is of three types - gross, subtle and causal. The visible creation is called as Sthoola Srishti (gross creation). The cause behind the gross creation is the Sookshma Srishti (subtle creation) and the cause for subtle creation is the Kaarana Srishti (causal creation). In the order of creation, the causal creation comes first. Let us therefore understand about Kaarana Srishti first. We have observed that the Moola Prakriti that has the predominance of Rajas is called as Avidya. This Avidya has innumerable forms. Thus, the forms of Chaitanya (consciousness) which are reflected in it are also innumerable. They are called as Jeevis. Similarly, the consciousness which gets reflected in the Moola Prakriti that has the predominance of Shuddha Satva is called as Ishwara. The Chaitanya that reflects in the Moola Prakriti that has the predominance of Rajas is called Jeeva. The Vyashti (the individual aspect) form of Avidya becomes the Karana Shareera (causal body) of the Jeevis whereas for Ishwara, the Samashti (the totality) form of Moola Prakriti becomes the Karana Shareera. When the Jeevis are in the Vyashti form of Avidya, it becomes Sushupti for him. The Karana Shareera of Jeeva and Ishwara are referred to as Anandamaya Kosha. This itself is called as the causal creation." Sri Swamiji Lessons in Vedanta - 18 part I Sri Guru Datta, Swamiji Says __________ Win a first-class trip to New Orleans and vacation Elvis Style!.
