Jaya Guru Datta,

Here is today's saying:

“The collection of the five Jnanedriyas (sensory organs), five Karmendriyas

(motor organs) and the Antahkarana (inner instrument with the four constituents

like Manas, Buddhi etc.,) constitute the Sookshma Shareera (subtle body). This

body is also called 'Linga Shareera'. This Sookshma Shareera is the medium

through which the Jeevi experiences pain and pleasure.

Linga Shareera is of two types. Para Linga Shareera and Apara Linga Shareera.

The Para Linga Shareera is the Linga Shareera of Hiranyagarbha. We will discuss

about this later. This is also called as Mahat Tattva. The Linga Shareera of

the ordinary beings is called Apara Linga Shareera. This is also called

Ahankara (different from the Ahankara that is one of the four constituents

mentioned above).

When the Jeeva or Ishwara are in this subtle Shareera, it will be their

Svapnavastha (dream state). This subtle body has three sheaths -Jnanamaya

Kosha, Manomaya Kosha and Pranamaya Kosha (sheaths of intellect, will and

life)."
