Causal Creation Is Not Real

Here is today's saying:

 

“Comprehend Kaarana Srishti (causal creation). Understand that it is not Real.

(The purpose of understanding Karana Srishti and Kaarya Srishti is to realise

that the entire creation is unreal, being born out of Maya and to subsequently

attain Vairagya -detachment.)

 

Satva predominant Moola Prakriti is called Maya. If Chaitanya reflects in it,

it gives rise to Ishwara. Therefore this Maya itself is the Karana Shareera of

Ishwara.

 

Rajas predominant Moola Prakriti is called Avidya. This has innumerable forms.

If Chaitanya reflects in it, it gives birth to (innumerable forms of) Jeevis.

Therefore, for the Jeevis, Avidya itself is the Kaarana Shareera.

 

The other name for Kaarana Shareera is Anandamaya Kosha. When Jeeva or Ishwara

are in this, it will be their Sushupti. But, in reality, Jeeva and Ishwara are

essentially of the form of Sat-Chit-Ananda."

 

In Sanskrit:

 

Kaarana srishtim jaanam tu

Tadasatyatvam pashyantu

 

Saatva lambaa moola prakritir

Matyaabhi khyaa chidyogaat

Eesham soote tasmaat saakila

Kaarana dehosteeshasya

 

Rajasi niroodhaa moola prakriti

Shchaa vidyaakhyaa bahu roopaa

Chidyogaat saa jeevam soote

Tatsaa kaarana dehosya

 

Sukhamaya koshaa para paryaaye

Vasatissve sve kaarana deho

Bhavati sushuptir jeeveshwarayoh

Tatvaat sachidaanandayoh
