Jaya Guru Datta,

Hello Sarf,

I, too have received three doubtful emails, all of them sent from or routed

through dattapeetham.com, all of them with attachments. (I didn´t open any of

the attachments anyway, as only recently all my harddisc content was

destroyed by another virus.)

So do not open any attachments if the email doesn´t address you in person,

e.g. there´s no Dear Sarf or Hello Sarf etc

and if there´s no signature at the end, e.g no:. Regards plus Name, Yours

plus name etc

Install a good antivirus program which is able to check emails.

A devotee has just sent me the following hint:

"Actually, it is quite possible you have the W32.EKlez

virus which has been going around. This virus scans

address books and picks two email addresses. It sends

email to one of them via the other address. This is

likely what happened." ---

I do not have any email address book, only my aol organizer folders with some

mails.

In these folders I don´t have any mails from e.g.

president_dgbs, from where I got one of the doubtful mails,

nor from manager, from where I got another.

Yet I guess that these dattapeetham.com addresses are stored in someone

else`s address book together with my address. In your case it seems to be the

same.
