Karmendriyas-Indriyas of action (motor Indriyas):

>From Akasha came the Vak (organ of speech)

>From Vayu came the Pani (upper extremities)

>From Agni came the Pada (lower extremities)

>From Jala came the Payu (organ of defecation)

>From Prithvi came the Upastha (organ of reproduction)

 

Prana was formed from the combination of Rajas aspects from all the subtle

elements. Further, this Prana took the forms of Prana, Apaana, Vyaana, Udaana

and Samaana."
