Guest guest
Dear friends, Firstly, I render my apologies to all the members, who feel irritated and angry for having their mailboxes flooded with my `irrelevant' posts. My intention was to only tell more and more people of the life and teachings of the Acharya, relevant at all times to come. We are here talking Hinduism, Veda and religion, thanks to this great soul. In his absence, there would have been a terrible attack on the Arsha Samskriti and we would have been lost forever in the dark realms of Avaidika cults. His life and teachings are relevant to everyone from every walk of life. Sri Ganapathi Sacchinda Swami, in his Purvashrama, was well known to my Gurudeva, who was the Asthaana Vidwaan of Sringeri Sarada Piitham. Swamiji took the assistance of my Guru in various matters including Srividya and Mantra Shastra and honored my guru on various occasions. Swamiji himself is a follower of Advaita and is devoted to Sri Acharya. He also shares a cordial, devoted relationship with H.H. Sri Sri Sri Bharati Teertha Mahasannidhaanam of Sri Sringeri Sarada Peetham. This makes me feel that my posts were not irrelevant here. During this chaitra Navaratri, everyday as I concluded my Srichakra Pooja, offering Vishesharghya to Sridevi, she kept telling me to offer my tributes to the feet of the great Acharya. Following her orders, I have prepared these posts, and I hope there are no serious shortcomings in them. Please go ahead and read them and pass it on to all your friends, who would be interested to know about the inspiring life of Srimadacharya. Others, who feel annoyed at these, forgive me! Srimatre chandramaulishwaraaya namaH !
Guest guest
Jai Guru Datta Dear Sir, There is no animosity here regarding your posts to this JAIGURUDATTA group which _is_ about Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji's teachings. Your devotion to your guru is evident, but your statement, "Sri Swamiji himself is a follower of Advaita and the Acharya", shows how little you truly understand Him. I would like to clarify that Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji is Avadhuta. He follows no one, no thing. He is the torch bearer of Truth NOW. All that came before, and All to come exists in Him and He is tirelessly showering us with more knowledge than any of us can consume in these busy times. I have included a portion (and link) of his recent discourse from Chicago last week where He made it very clear about jnana and ananda. Sri Guru Datta Hanuman <snip.... If you go through good books and literature, then your devotion and Jnana will increase. It is like going to a K Mart. Everything is available there. You need not run around different shops. It may be little expensive at times. But it is good to have one Guru, One Mantra. For Sadguru also it becomes easy to handle the disciple. That is why Swamiji gives Jnana through Bhajans. Swamiji gives teachings rarely. But if you go through Bhajans and their inner meanings, you will become a good student. Swamiji is a good farm and a farmer. You can get many types of natural products. It is all good for you. It will clear your doubts. Read books from the book shop. Swamiji's life story is like Bhagavad Gita. It has many many teachings. You still look for more things. What is that more? More? Always more? Swamiji has produced many books. First read them and learn yourself. That is more than enough. There is enough for a thousand years of reading and understanding. Many still ask for Vedanta Classes. Read the available books. First learn what all are available there. Many of you don't even know what types of books are there. Book shop is your first Vedanta class. Do you know how much energy and effort Sri Swamiji put in to produce all those in the book shop? You are many times silly. You ask "Swamiji give me Vedanta". First read books, listen to music and purify yourself. Swamiji's different poses say Vedanta. Study Swamiji's picture. Each picture is an Upanishad. It depends on your affection and devotion to understand that inner meaning of that picture. A simple picture will tell Vedanta. The publishers of the photos are not foolish people. Many one-line slogans say a lot. Go through the book God Word. It is so good. Study more and more. Religious rituals are also there with Swamiji. First understand the teachings in the books. Many feel that they miss something. There is much more than you can feel in the book shop. Yesterday's experience is different. It will always be with you. Why do you always look for new experience? Ananda comes only once. It has to live in you. http://www.dattapeetham.com/india/tours/2002/usa2002/speeches/chicago_25_7_2 002.html
