Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “An Atma Jnani will have transcended other Gunas and will have acquired predominance of Satva Guna and thus will remain outside the sphere of activity of Avarana Shakti. But Maya will be completely acting on other Jeevis. Avarana Shakti is of two types. 1. Asatvaavarana and 2. Abhaanaavarana. To cause to think that which exists does not exist is Asatvaavarana. To think 'Atma does not exist, God does not exist' is an example of Asatvaavarana. To cause to think 'I am not able to say if it exists or not' (if God exists or not) is Abhaasaavarana. Both are the mischievous acts of Avarana Shakti. Between Avarana Shakti and Vikshepa Shakti, the real seed for the tree of Samsaara is Avarana Shakti. After this seed is sown, the Vikshepa Shakti comes to play. It therefore follows that the real cause of Moksha is overcoming this power of illusion."
